The Fountain of Youth is real, and it’s just a short walk away in your kitchen - it’s possible for everyone to slow down the outward signs of aging, improve skin health, prevent health problems, and increase life expectancy naturally by juicing for anti aging.

Free Radicals - the culprit
Free radicals are molecules whose reactions have widely been shown to age the body[1]. A nutritious diet designed to limit free radical reactions will literally add years to your life, and make you look and feel younger.
Free radicals are ingested with burnt foods, food additives, and processed foods.
Limiting Free Radical Intake
Increase Raw Foods
Since free radicals (and other toxins) enter the body through cooked foods, slowly start to sensibly move your diet away from cooked foods and toward raw foods. (Raw foods not only limit free radical entry, they also remove existing free radicals. A double whammy.)
When I first started, the thought of giving up sausages for salad was too stupid for words. Even if I was able to keep it up for a few days, there’s no way it could be sustainable.
This is where drinking both juice and smoothies can really help. After I started enjoying juice snacks, I began to up my intake by replacing breakfasts with green smoothies. Smoothies contain 100% of the fiber, so it’s filling enough. And using a golden delicious apple base with a ginger seasoner made it a treat.
A decent blender makes all the difference between a joyful smoothie and one which you can barely choke down - there’s nothing worse than a mouthful of fibers!
So after I’d replaced breakfasts, that was one meal a day converted. From there, it was easy to change my lunch to a large chicken / turkey based meal, and finish the day with another smoothie (why finish the day with the largest meal?).
What’s more, juice and smoothies are sustainable. Your tastes quickly change, and you no longer crave bad foods.
Snacks
With the right tool, it’s remarkably easy to replace processed and additive-laden snacks with wholesome, all-natural ones.
Instead of ice cream, use the homogenizing attachment of your Omega 8006 (review) or this year’s NC800 (review) to make a healthy fruit sorbet (just chuck your favourite frozen fruits in and it’s done).
Instantly make healthy peanut butter the same way, and enjoy on its own or with wholegrain bread or with celery. If you get bored of peanut butter, use other nuts, seeds or combine the two.
Juicing for Anti Aging
The above will limit your body’s free radical reactions. The following nutrients[2] are powerful antioxidants which protect your cells from existing free radical reactions:
Vitamins C, E, Selenium, and the Carotenoids.
Copper, Manganese, Zinc, Flavonoids, and Coenzyme Q10 also possess antioxidant properties.
Antioxidants function by safely interacting with free radicals, nullifying them and terminating the chain reaction before cell damage is caused.[3]
Vitamin C is found in Red Pepper, Broccoli and Kale.
Vitamin E is found in Spinach, and Broccoli.
(No juicer? Our guide to this year’s best juicers will help you choose the right one for your needs.)
Selenium is found in Spinach and Asparagus.
Dark leafy greens are good sources of Carotenoids (Kale, Spinach).
(These juicers yield twice as much juice from leafy greens - this will save you money daily if you juice lots of them!)
Skin Anti-Aging: Carrot is a good source of Beta-Carotene, which is great for the skin.
Brain Anti-Aging: Bioflavonoids not only have antioxidant properties, they also preserve and enhance brain function. Bioflavonoids are found in any richly hued fruit.
Beets are a ideal for both skin, brain and general anti-aging, since they contain Manganese, Vitamin A (which Carotene is converted to in the body), and Nitrates, which widen vessels and increase oxygen to the brain.
Juicing Recipe for Anti Aging and Skin Health

- 1 Beet
- 4 large Kale leaves
- 3 handfuls Spinach
- 1 handful Broccolli
- 4 handfuls Blueberry (wrap in Kale leaves if using a centrifugal juicer)

Simply juice or blend as frequently as you want when juicing for anti aging and skin health - the more the better. There’s a lot in the nutrient list, so be sure to mix and match.
